The question of the supremacy of the English language in the business field is a topic that has been approached by many researchers. In the present paper we are going to tackle upon the reasons for this linguistic phenomenon as well as the impact of English upon business communication. The fact that more and more global organizations recognize English as their official company language is probably the most visible effect of this linguistic reality.
